We should look at the babies!

We should look at the babies. Why not? Because they don't care about anything else. They do, they learn, they fall down, they get up and they do it again.
Same with learning languages. In the beginning of learning our native language, (Burmese), when were young, Do we care about other people's opinions? Do we care about making mistakes in Burmese? Do we fear of making mistakes in Burmese? Do we cry  and say "Oh no, Mommy, Daddy, I make a mistake pronunciation mistakes?" That means I am bad at Burmese. Did we do that? Of course not, we never did that, right.

So, when we are leaning English, Why WE ARE so afraid of making mistakes in English? Why WE ARE so afraid of critics, judgements?

Let me give you a small example. I've heard about the story. One day, the man was walking on the sidewalk. The two little girls were riding a skateboard. They were going too fast. And of course, they almost hit the man. The man was a little bit afraid. When the man looked at their face, they were laughing with a huge smile. (haha....haha....). But suddenly, they fell down. They were hurt. Of course, they cried and cried but after a moment, what did they do? They got on their skateboard, they rode it again. This time, they were going much too fast. (They don't care about other people and they don't care about the pain) (What do they do?) Do they stop doing that ? or Do they move forward?
Of course, they do it again. They are totally fearless.

What I want to say is "That's is our natural ability". We have to learn it again. Because our parents kill that natural ability. They put something not true into your brain very deeply. Some people carry the nonsense things all the time in their brain. Where we were young, we didn't care about anything else. If we wanted to play on the street, we did it. If we wanted to play football, we did it and so on.

So, The point is "When you SPEAK English, Be those like kids" You MUST learn that again.
When you make grammar mistakes, so what?
When you make pronunciation mistakes, so what?
Do other people laugh at you, so what?
Do other people criticize you, so what?

LAUGH about it. (haha....haha...haha) KEEP GOING! KEEP Speaking English. Don't be shy! Don't be afraid. Be strong. Be confident!

In fact, every time you have a difficult time in your life, USE this! You fall down, get up, do that again! Try that again.
